Finnlaunch is a Finnish localization studio based in Helsinki, Finland. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Questions about privacy can be sent to info@finnlaunch.com.

• Project brief form: your name, work email, company, website link, the services and timeline you select, your project description and any files you upload.
• Email: the messages, attachments and contact details you send us.
• Client projects: contact and billing details, and the content you share with us for localization.
• Website: basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type, processed by our hosting provider to deliver the site securely.

• To answer your inquiry and prepare a proposal (steps taken at your request before a contract).
• To deliver the services you order and communicate about the project (performance of a contract).
• To invoice and keep accounting records (legal obligation).
• To keep our website and communication secure and working (legitimate interest).

We use trusted service providers who process data only on our instructions:

• Tally for the project brief form.
• Framer for hosting this website.
• Our email provider for business email.
• Translation and writing tools, which may include AI-assisted tools, used to help prepare content. Every text is reviewed by a native Finnish speaker.
• Accounting and invoicing services, once a project is agreed.

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. When they do, the transfer is protected by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or another valid safeguard. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

• Inquiries that do not lead to a project: up to 12 months, then deleted.
• Project communication and content: for the duration of the project and up to 24 months after, unless we agree otherwise.
• Invoices and accounting records: as long as Finnish accounting law requires.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website. Our hosting provider may use technically necessary cookies to deliver the site.

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. To use these rights, email info@finnlaunch.com. We reply within one month.

If you think we handle your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
